Each week Viewpoints on Montreal's CJAD radio station examines the top stories of the week, from politics, to justice, to entertainment. The show featured here aired on February 4, 2012 and explored similarities with Quebec's separatist movement and Scottish Nationalists in view of the forthcoming Scottish referendum on independence scheduled to be held in 2014

The show is hosted by Todd van der Heyden, who, after 12 years with CTV Montreal as a 6pm anchor and investigative reporter, now co-anchors CTV News Channel, Canada's national all-news cable network.
