Scotland Week in Canada
CN Tower, Toronto April 3, 2008

On Thursday April 3rd, 2008 Toronto's iconic landmark, the CN Tower, was the venue for this year's Tartan Day and the Scottish Studies Society's 16th Annual Scot of the Year Award presentation.

This event was sponsored by HBOS Canada and was hosted by the Scottish Government in conjunction with Scottish Development International (www.sdi.co.uk). As a showcase of modern Scotland's key strengths in knowledge, skills, technology and innovation, we were delighted to have been invited to participate in this event which was also a fundraiser for The Scottish Studies Foundation.

As part of a programme of Scotland Week events across North America that recognize Tartan Day, this event was a great celebration of Scotland's business and cultural ties with Canada.
